Yes, it is the scale that makes it LOOK closer...
As I say, if you look at the line of the cut grass coming across from the six yard box in each picture (this will take account of the scale, yeah), and use that to 'measure' back, it is very slightly closer on the ends and actually further away in the middle...
Either way, it's bugger all difference, and it sure as hell is not even remotely closer than 1 metre at its best point, never mind 3 to 4 metres.

ACTUALLY... if you study the two Twitter pictures carefully, and use the cut of the grass across from the six yard box in both cases, you can clearly see there is NO IMPROVEMENT WHATSOEVER.
in FACT, I would say the shaping of the front line on the new arrangement actually moves those in the centre seats FURTHER AWAY.
Gents, we REALLY need to get these fuckers OUT of it - I'm sure they think we've just popped out from under a gooseberry bush...

Yeah the roof is built for a 3 week event in the summer not a full football season, I am not an architect but you not do adequate work to make that roof worthy of football stadium in the closed season. I doubt safety laws would allow the work to done during the season unless there are partial closures of the stadium,
In layman's terms the David will not spent the money to make that thing look anything like a football stadium

The meaning of Kop says:
Spion Kop (or Kop for short) is a colloquial name or term for a number of steep single tier terraces and stands at sports stadiums, particularly in the United Kingdom. Their steep nature resembles a hill near Ladysmith, South Africa, that was the scene of the Battle of Spion Kop in January 1900 during the Second Boer War.
Unfortunately a single steep terrace at the LS will only be achieved by knocking it down and rebuilding it.

correct they already wrote to people that sit there
will be the same for any seats we try to move nearer the pitch, the cost of replacing the roof would be ridiculous and as it's already the biggest roof of that sort on the world/europe or whatever I don't imagine extending it would be possible either
